What You'll Be Doing
As the General Manager, you'll be the face and force behind Yorkton Toyota. You'll lead store growth, build the team, shape the culture, and drive the results.
- Leading the overall day-to-day operations of the dealership
- Driving profitability, revenue growth, and market share
- Managing and developing department managers and leadership teams
- Creating a strong culture of accountability, performance, and customer experience
- Reviewing and managing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensuring departments are operating efficiently and achieving KPI targets
- Managing staffing, hiring, coaching, and succession planning
- Driving new and used inventory strategy and aged inventory management
- Working with OEM partners and maintaining strong manufacturer relationships
- Leading marketing, events, and promotional strategy alongside internal marketing teams
- Ensuring operational consistency, process execution, and strong communication across departments
- Driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and employee engagement
- Managing operational challenges while keeping teams motivated and focused
- Supporting the long-term strategic growth of the dealership
What We're Looking For
You're a builder. A leader. A doer. You thrive on challenge and love creating success through people, process, and execution.
- Proven leadership experience in a dealership, automotive, motorsports, marine, agriculture, heavy equipment, or other high-volume retail operation
- Strong financial and operational acumen
- Ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability, ownership, and organizational skill
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple departments and leaders
- Ability to create momentum, energy, and urgency within a team
- Comfortable making difficult decisions and leading through challenges
- Passion for customer experience and team development
- Experience working with OEMs and manufacturer standards is considered a strong asset
