We are currently looking for two Permanent Full-time Car Rental Agents to join our rentals team in our Whitehorse location.
Position Title: NOC 64100 - Retail Salespersons and Visual Merchandisers – Car Rental Agent
Positions Available: 2
Hours per week: 40
Hourly Rate: $21.00

Responsibilities:

Warmly greets customers and handles phone calls, emails, and queries with professionalism and efficiency.
Provide exceptional service throughout the rental process, from managing reservations, generating quotes for short-term rentals, finalizing rental agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork.
Maintain consistent communication with customers, ensuring they are well-informed about rental terms and conditions before requesting signatures on all relevant documents.
Conduct thorough walk-around inspections with customers, obtaining their authorization via signature.
Perform daily checks on the drop box, process rental returns, evaluate the vehicle’s condition upon return, and offer recommendations for necessary maintenance if repairs are deemed necessary.
Ensure vehicle availability and prepare rental units for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling vehicles as needed.

Requirements:

1 year's retail customer service experience is preferred.
High school diploma
Experience in the automotive or rental industry is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong computer skills and you know your way around Microsoft Office.
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
Abstract acceptable to The Driving Force Group of Companies Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
Clear pre-employment security clearance.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with keen attention to detail.
