Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cashiering, with strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS, restaurant operations, and food safety standards is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food industry setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Touch Bistro.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change efficiently.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and workstations.
Assist with food preparation when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required.
Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays if needed. Pay: $18.51-$22.00 per hour
