Job Description: Director of Finance and Team Leader
Reports to: President/General Manager

Description:
ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates is a manufacturer, a retailer and wholesaler of premium snacks, confectionery and beverages. The Finance Director at ANNE is an integral part of the Management Team and leads all finance and accounting functions for ANNE Chocolates.
Key metrics business metrics-Sales, EBITDA, net income, cashflow, debt metrics and working capital
Key Areas of Responsibility:
-When needed hire, motivate, train and retain engaged team members that can reflect and demonstrate our core values of Respect, Integrity and Teamwork
-Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance functions, for example but not limited to:
-Lead all team communication around finance and accounting
-Lead Business Central and Shopify data quality, updates and changes
-Daily, weekly and YTD sales and gross profit reporting
-Weekly Inventory and Labour Reports
-Weekly AR, AP and cash reporting
-Monthly, bank recs and financial statements and lead finance portion of period review
-Monitor and enhance our internal controls
-Create and maintain a Risk Management Framework (financial and non)
-Quarterly HST remittance
-Lead year end and quarterly inventory counts
-Lead Year End financial statements and prepare tax documents for external review
-Design and drive management reporting and support ad hoc project work
-Payroll execution and RRSP statements
-Research and apply for Federal and Provincial government programs when applicable
-File and track all pertinent documents related to finance and acct eg leases, insurance
-Annual insurance review
-Provide Leadership to the Management Team on analytics and data management
-Continue to support the drive for operational excellence and CI (continuous improvement)
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Able to consistently demonstrate our core values of Respect, Integrity and Teamwork
5+ years of experience in production or retail finance and financial systems
Great communication skills
Great computer skills including advanced Excel skills
Highly organized and a strong work ethic
Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central software experience considered an asset
Accounting designation would be considered an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
