Overview:
The Associate Manager, Operations primarily oversees edits, plans, coordinates, and/or directs the services of the Custodial & Warehouse teams, as well as supports the Operations Director and Managers. This role involves managing various inventories, operational requests; supervision of Custodial Team; supervision of Warehouse Team; coordinating the services and duties of various other personnel within or outside of the organization; aligning schedules for meetings, deliveries and events; processing & approval of invoices; submitting payment requests; submitting & approving various operations work orders and support tickets; and verifying and processing expense reimbursement requests.
Job Responsibilities: •

Manage and scheduling of Custodial Staff, including site checks and deficiency reports;

Investigating and addressing complaints regarding housekeeping deficiencies;
- Oversee training and provide support and leadership to the custodial and warehouse teams;

Establish and educate custodial team on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards;

Oversee product requirements, consumption and ensure competitive pricing;

Providing monthly reports, summaries and results of the Operations work order system;

Management of operational duties: Including scheduling, correspondence, preparing documentation and procurement support;

Managing and maintaining policies, procedures, electric filing and& storage;

Ensuring all Operational departmental training is up to date;

Overseeing office supplies and& storage areas, including the warehouse;

Update and maintenance of the Donation inventory system;

Tracking expenses and financial data, processing invoices and expense reports;

Monitoring operational efficiency by streamlining process; identifying areas for improvement and providing cost savings efficiencies;

Ensuring compliance with operation policies, procedures and regulations;

Upholding Operations standards;

Assist with updating and & communicating operational policies, procedures and systems;

Identifying Operation areas of improvement with recommendations;

Providing support and acting as back up to the Operations Management team.
Qualification, Experience:
- 5+ years' experience as an Operations or Housekeeping Supervisor, or a similar position;
- IFMA (Facilities Management);
- Health & Safety Certification;

Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management software;

Business Management Certification considered an asset;
- Strong organizational and administrative skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
