RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor procurement, logistics, and inventory management teams.
- Manage day-to-day supply chain functions and production planning activities
- Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to develop and implement processes, procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Develop and execute plans to scale and optimize supply chain and planning, driving efficiency, ERP automation, quality improvement, on-time customer deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
- Streamline supply chain & planning operations, creating robustness and redundancy in logistics and supplier networks, assuring on-time parts arrival and accurate build schedules.
- Cultivate relationships with key vendors and provide internal strategy and guidance, enabling successful vendor management, contract negotiation, stocking agreements, cost reductions and increased inventory turns.
- Coordinate directly with Talent Management on departmental talent planning, recruiting, training, performance management and related initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Plan and manage supply chain budgets and manage BOM cost reduction assignments.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers on ERP workflow improvements, data accuracy, dashboards, and system reporting.
- Stay abreast of trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in manufacturing, supply chain, and the professional loudspeaker industry, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL NEED
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in supply chain scaling and optimization, preferably in a manufacturing, electronics, or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with JIT, MRPII, DDMRP, Lean, and other related methodologies.
- Proficiency in manufacturing and supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP/MRP systems, inventory management software, and demand planning tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and make data driven decisions.
NICE TO HAVE
- Advanced degrees or certifications related to operations management or supply chain management (e.g., SCMP, CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Certification).
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field;
- 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing and supply chain.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet objectives.
