About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. Completes shipping reports.
Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

Arrange for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions

Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

Collaborate with managers to ensure coordination of production lines and finished product
-
Coordinate product completion and shipments on a timely basis
-
Interpret packing slips, enter correct information into the computer, and acknowledge receipt of goods into the purchase order

Complete bills of lading from various freight carriers
-
Inspect the all the material which is setup to be received under the quarantine
-
Understand and comply with procedures and guidelines established through inspection SOPs
-
Schedule and manage the appt. time
-
Temp monitoring Logistic/ depend on the site requirements
-
May required forklift driver licenses
-
Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes

Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products

Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
-
Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
-
Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle

Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
-
Material incoming inspection when is required / only when the jobs are coming under the quarantine
Education & Experience

High School or Equivalent
-
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting

Frequent walking and standing required

Occasional lifting required
