Senior Interior Designer, Full-Time

Summary

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferably from a CIDA accredited institution.
Active NCIDQ Certificate Holder
Minimum 6+ full time years working experience as an interior designer
Proficiency with PC Systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
High level understanding of functionality of Adobe Creative Suite and related rendering programs.
Familiarity with BC Building Code/ Vancouver Building Bylaw preferred
Functional knowledge of common computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
Great writing and speaking skills - you communicate effectively with others
Highly organized and efficient with tasks

Key Duties

· Leading design teams and managing work tasks with the team, plus ensuring the concept and documentation are of the highest standard

· Completing contract administration and coordination with consultants with ease

· Digging into tasks with the team to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget

· Act as a contact point for consultants and clients

· Excellent visual, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills

· Follows office protocol and established procedures

· Works closely with the Associates for constant team communication.
