Full job description

Overview
This blended sales position encompasses both “inside sales and client service” (60% in office), as well as an “outside sales” consulting advisory role (40% on the road).

The Sr.MAR will be accountable for developing sales and providing education within the assigned territory consistent with our corporate goals and values. This role focuses primarily on generating and maintaining sales through education, building strong relationships with clients and key opinion leaders in the assigned territory of London, Ontario. This role supports a business plan for the territory and works closely with colleagues and ultimately expanding the territory consistent with agreed upon targets. Product and workflow knowledge is a critical component to successfully servicing the dental community in the assigned territory.

Accountabilities

Inside Sales and Client Service (60%)

Responsible for making outbound calls to clients in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). To do this effectively the Sr.MAR should know and understand the products and techniques that the dentist may use in their office.
Target 25 outbound calls per day.
Make a call plan each week.
Receive and process incoming client calls regarding inbound orders, CA orders, returns, product questions, troubleshooting and servicing any clients’ needs.
Partner with Clinical Advisor(s) within the designated territory to working together to achieve budget along with various sales focuses.
Review the following week’s call cycle and develop the call list to focus on for the following week.
Review any Continued Education (CE), Web or Channel leads in your territory and establish who is following up with the client.
Review monthly focus product(s) and other key sales initiatives underway to support your weekly plan.
Call, job shadow and train with manager on sales approach.
Review monthly KPI’s and results.
1:1 results-based call with Inside Sales Manager each month.
Provide active and ongoing participation in product, technique, and sales training.
Perform monthly and ongoing research of competitor products.
Communicate regularly with your manager and others on the Sales team to share best practices by all involved.
Consistently follow and work within the guidelines of the Company’s corporate values.

Outside Sales and Consulting Advisory (40%)

Work with Manager to develop zone cycle for territory, zones on 4-week cycle.
Build cycle with PowerBI geographical map.
Document plan for each territory and load into Teams your interactions.
In first two quarters, work to develop VIP, A, and B Account.
Co-travel with RSM, CA team, brand managers.
Travel to Clients’ Clinics/Offices a minimum of once per week.
Target 8-10 touches per day.
Conduct Presentation Demonstrations and Module sessions for offices and study groups as required.
Attend local CE and Tradeshows.
Every Quarter, will:
Revamp Call Cycle.
Identify Five highest value targets.
Identity business focus for the next quarter.
Review Territory Sales.
Document and present results of call cycles and quarterly focus initiatives to RSM and Inside Sales and Client Service Manager.

Experience

A post-secondary education in dental, clinical or a business line of study with a minimum of three (3) progressive years of inside and/or outside sales and client service experience.
Preference will be given to education and experience in a dental or clinical setting.
A valid full driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
