Teine Energy has an exciting opportunity for AP/JV Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely within a dynamic group and report to the Supervisor Accounts Payable & Joint Venture. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate volumetric and financial accounting for Teine and third-party production.

Responsibilities:

Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices while maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of invoices.
Communicate with vendors and internal customers to resolve invoice issues and respond to queries promptly.
Continuously improve the operation of the accounts payable department by evaluating processes and workflow.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Provide support for period end close and external audit process.
Other accounts payable related tasks and projects as required.
Operated and non-operated Joint Venture billings, partner queries and account reconciliations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with Qbyte FM, OpenInvoice and Energylink.
Six - Ten years of Accounts Payable and Joint Venture Accounting experience in the oil and gas industry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong understanding and appreciation of deadlines and commitment to schedules.
High degree of accuracy and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proactive to resolve issues but knows when to escalate to management.
Solutions-focused, team-minded, and demonstrates Teine’s Core Values.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word considered an asset.
