Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Insulation Helper to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with the installation of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, work safely, and contribute to high-quality project completion. Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with the installation of various insulation materials according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as knives, tape measures, and staple guns to cut and secure insulation
- Support the team in measuring and cutting materials based on blueprints and project plans
- Help with caulking and sealing gaps to ensure energy efficiency and building integrity
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tool storage and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or construction plans to assist with proper insulation placement
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with hand tools and caulking techniques is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
