About GrowthDeck Marketing
GrowthDeck Marketing is a performance marketing agency that helps residential deck builders across North America generate more revenue through paid ads on Meta. Every campaign we run is tied to a real business owner counting on us to fill their pipeline, so the work matters and the results are real.
We are a small, fast-growing team that takes ownership seriously. You will not be a cog in a giant agency machine. You will own real ad accounts, see the direct impact of your work, and grow quickly if you put in the effort.
The Role
We are hiring a Media Buyer to manage and optimize Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns across a portfolio of client accounts. This is a hands-on role inside Ads Manager every single day. You will be building campaigns, monitoring performance, troubleshooting accounts, and working to keep cost per lead low and lead quality high. You will also be editing short-form video ads in CapCut, so a good creative eye and a willingness to get hands-on with editing are part of the job.
We provide comprehensive training on our systems, processes, and the deck-builder niche.
What You Will Do
This is a hands-on performance role, not a "set it and forget it" one. Day to day, you will own a book of ad accounts, get campaigns live, keep fresh creative flowing, dig into what is and is not working, and make the calls needed to keep results moving in the right direction.
Account ownership
- Manage a portfolio of deck-builder ad accounts inside Meta Ads Manager
- Own campaign structure, budget pacing, and day-to-day account stability
- Keep clean naming conventions, organization, and account hygiene
- Log changes, tests, and next steps inside our project management system
Daily monitoring and deep dives
- Check every account every morning
- Several times a week, give each account a deeper review where real decisions get made, not just "looks fine"
- Catch problems early & learn from them
Launch and setup
- Launch new client campaigns quickly and correctly, including pixel checks, conversion events, targeting, and creative formats
- Coordinate with the team so tracking and lead flow are wired up correctly
Creative production and testing
- Keep creative moving every week across your book of business
- Edit short-form video ads in CapCut and build new ads consistently (this is non-negotiable)
- Write clear, conversion-focused ad copy that fits the deck-building niche
- Test hooks, offers, formats, angles, and audiences with structure, not guesswork
Performance optimization
- Watch cost per lead, cost per booked estimate, lead flow, and campaign stability
- Diagnose issues fast and act on them through creative, offer, targeting, placements, or structure
- Know when to push harder and when to leave a winner alone instead of over-optimizing
- Spot when the problem is not the ads (follow-up speed, qualifying, pricing, scheduling) and flag it
AI and internal support
- Use AI tools to move faster across creative, analysis, and workflow
- Follow our SOPs closely while bringing your own ideas to the table
- Improve SOPs as you spot bottlenecks, and share wins and patterns with the rest of the team
What We Are Looking For
- Proactive and self-directed. You move first instead of waiting to be asked, and a heavy week sharpens you rather than slowing you down.
- Real Meta ads experience. 1 to 3 years or more running paid campaigns for local service businesses, with home services experience weighing heavily in your favor.
- Strong at managing multiple accounts. You can carry several client accounts at once and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Analytical and decisive. You read performance data, pick out what actually matters, and make the call without dragging your feet.
- Agency or client-facing experience. You have worked inside a marketing agency or owned client performance deliverables, so turnaround times and accountability are second nature.
- A clear communicator. You can explain how an account is doing in clear language, with no buzzwords to hide behind.
- Comfortable with the tools. Google Sheets, Slack, Loom, and finding your way around a CRM come easily, and any time spent in GoHighLevel is a welcome bonus.
