Job Description:

The Commissary Assembler is responsible for the final assembly of trolleys in the commissary department. Each group of trolleys is assembled according to the type and size of the flight for which they are being used.

The duties of the Commissary Assembler include the following :

Checking flight bill – the worker reviews the flight bills to determine what items are required for each flight. The counter height is 36 inches high, which may require the worker to bend slightly. This activity is done intermittently throughout the day and the bending is not required for any prolonged periods of time.
Assembling flights –commissary trolleys that have been rebuilt are brought over to the assembly area by the bar/boutique builders. The assembler stages the trolleys according to flight number. *Headsets, hampers and satchels are added, as requested, to the trolleys to complete the flight. Fully assembled flights are pushed into the cold room to await pickup.

We are now hiring for Drivers to work in our flight kitchen located on the grounds of the Winnipeg Airport in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A Driver will be required to;

Deliver temperature controlled food and related goods via Gate Gourmet vehicle
Manually load and unload galley equipment and goods onto and off of trucks and aircrafts
Drive safely on airport property, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines
Monitor deliveries for accuracy and security
Interact with and provide superior customer service to onboard airline representatives and partners

Job Specific Requirements:

Current driver's license
Clean driving record

We are now hiring for Dishwasher - General Labour to work in our flight kitchen located at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. This position is represented by a labor Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreement.

A Dishwasherwill be required to manually load used dishware and cutlery into automatic dish-washing machinery. Monitor incoming used dishware and cutlery for recyclable items and linens. Unload clean dishware items and stack accordingly in corresponding racks.
