About the Role

Reporting to the HSEQ & Continuous Improvement Manager-Americas, the HSEQ Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems while ensuring operational compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated HSEQ Coordinator who can work independently and collaboratively with our experienced engineering and operational teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives across valve-related projects, helping to address technical documentation, inspection, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Quality:
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and compliance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Complete documentation review for relevant purchase orders.
- Review and approval of documentation for goods against PO requirements and customer specific requirements in line with customer and industry standards.
- Check compiled valve certification packages for new products, ensuring customer specific requirements are met during final inspection.
- Verify all related paperwork produced for repair scopes of work are acceptable (Pressures test charts/ Non-Destructive Testing reports / Post Weld Heat Treatment charts and reports / coating reports / Paint Reports).
HSEQ Training & Records Process:
- Administer and update the Training Matrix and personnel training files.
- Schedule required training sessions as required.
- Plan and coordinate training schedules in alignment with operational needs, workforce availability and organizational priorities.
- Ensure all training certifications obtained are properly documented, scanned and filed within company records in compliance with organizational standard.
- Distribute, collect, and track training course satisfaction surveys to ensure full participation and accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate and maintain list of Approved Training Providers, sending questionnaires to new vendors and filing relevant documents as per company processes.
- Track and report annual training completion data (course type, attendance, duration) for Management Review.
- Administer the full cycle of Drug & Alcohol (D&A) testing for safety-sensitive positions in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain HSE tools and systems to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Oversee the START Card System, ensuring accurate management, completion and tracking.
- Coordinate the ALL-Conversation System, to ensure compliance and proper monitoring.
- Manage the Safety Observation & Safety Excellence tool including classification and tracking of Observation cards.
- Administer and oversee Basix and Toolbox Talks documents, ensuring the content meets established safety standards.
- Support the planning and execution of HSE campaigns and initiatives.
- Purchase and manage applicable industry standards and related documentation, as required.
- Any other reasonable duties will be assigned as required to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- A diploma in Mechanical (Manufacturing) or Industrial Engineering Technology is preferred but not essential, as experience will be taken into consideration.
- Previous experience in documentation review would be an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic, self-motivated.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
Working Conditions
- 95% office work.
- Workshop or other site work may be required from time to time.
