Our facility located in Chatham, Ontario is seeking a qualified licensed industrial electrician to fill the following position.
Hours of Work: 3-Shift Rotation - Days 6:40am-2:40pm, Afternoons 2:40pm to 10:40pm & Midnights 10:40pm to 6:40am

Things you will lead and do:
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine lay-out of industrial equipment and installations
- Conduct planned preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records
- Efficient production equipment set up, inspection and shutdown of all related equipment when required, including process changeovers
- Assist in planning, organizing of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation)
- Program, troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial equipment
Key Requirements:
- Must have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold a CofQ 442(a) preferred or 309(a) with manufacturing experience
- Must be proficient in reading (Electrical Blueprints) hardwire, and ladder logic prints
- Must have knowledge of Ethernet, DH +, and RS Links and be able to troubleshoot electrical and robotic systems and equipment
- Working knowledge with PLC’s (e.g. Allen Bradley, RSLogix 50000) servo controls and variable frequency drives is required
- Focus on Root Cause solutions and improvements
- Mechanical knowledge and experience to assist where and when necessary.
