Job description:
Working with Glass A Requirement.
We are looking for detail-oriented Department Supervisors to lead Continuous Improvement and to monitor our current operations and determine more efficient production processes for our manufacturing glass line. Your responsibilities include Leading a Department Team, analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, working as a leader within a department, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to oversee systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, ensure high product quality and work well in a team environment. Candidates with glass experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
- Developing and implementing process improvements.
- Create control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
- Training staff and creating a positive team environment.
- Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
- Work Closely with Team to understand, coach and build a successful department.
Requirements:
- Relevant work experience in a manufacturing facility Leading greater than 10 staff.
- Strong background working with glass.
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Documentation and organization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excel.
Compensation:
- Salary - $28.00 hr to start with yearly reviews
- 2 weeks accrued vacation
- Benefits after 3 months
Starting Wage will be reviewed for those applying with previous experience leading within a window & door industry
