Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential building. This role requires a hands-on, reliable individual who can work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities
Strong attention to detail
Proven hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
Knowledge of residential property management policies and procedures
Proficiency with computers, including MS Office
Familiarity with HVAC systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload with minimal supervision
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and emergency on-call rotations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Performing maintenance in common areas, as well as vacant and occupied units
Preparing apartments for new residents according to company policy
Maintaining interior and exterior common areas
Responding to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner
Coordinating with contractors and service providers as required
Assisting with preventative maintenance and building upkeep

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time, Live-In

Benefits: (effective after successful completion of 3-month probationary period):

Schedule:

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Evening & Weekend On-Call Rotation

Yearly Salary: $35,000 per year

Property Management: 3 years minimum required
Only candidates with relevant residential experience will be considered
