The Delivery Driver supports customers in the oilfield, industrial, and plant sectors by delivering outstanding service and ensuring timely delivery of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering products to field and customer locations, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in both warehouse and field environments.
What you will bring:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
- Warehouse, general labour, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in delivery driving is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- First Aid and H2S Alive are an asset
- Technical certification in a related field is considered an asset.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug, alcohol, and fitness to work)
What you will do:
- Pick, prepare, process and ship customer orders in a timely manner; maintain records and paperwork for orders.
- Ensure items are accurately and efficiently picked and identified to avoid discrepancies
- Load, unload trucks, and receive stock while ensuring orders are correct.
- Deliver and pick up materials in a timely manner to designated sites.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary warehouse and perform various housekeeping duties
- Participate in physical inventory including communicating on discrepancies.
- Be an effective team player, and able to work independently, along with the willingness to take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
- Maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation of vehicle.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to promote and ensure a safe work environment for all.
