What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Stationary Machine Operator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Shift Lead, this role supports the production process through the preparation and operation of the beveling equipment. . The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment and be committed to quality and teamwork.

Key Qualifications

Strong work ethic and reliability
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow instructions effectively
Strong focus on workplace safety
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Fluent in spoken and written English
Previous experience operating overhead cranes is an asset
Mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities

Follow all Bri-Steel policies and procedures that relate to Bevel machine operation
Material handling
Pipe length and sizing set-up
Perform all Beveller checks effectively
Calculate correct cutting speed
Effectively set all bevel related equipment parameters prior to machining a bevel to specification, i.e. cutting head run-out, bevel head angle, compound bevel cutting, hydraulic system, electrical system, conveying system, etc.
Complete all appropriate documentation related to beveling
Communicate stock needs related to beveling activities to shift lead as required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other related duties as outlined by Shift Lead

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage: $23.00/hour

This is a full-time, permanent position
Must be able to work rotating day and night shifts
Candidates must be able to reliably commute
