About FlightLine Golf
FlightLine Golf is Ontario's premier golf course renovation contractor. We build bunker renovations, greens, tees, and driving ranges for the most prestigious private clubs in the province. These are projects that golfers talk about for decades. Our 25-year reputation is everything and we protect it on every single job.
Our construction season runs April through December. This role is full-time and year-round — the off-season is when the pipeline gets built. You'll be pricing next season's work, locking in vendor relationships, and preparing the tender packages that set us up to win before a shovel goes in the ground.
The Role
You will own the full estimating process from first site visit to signed contract. That means:
- Conducting site visits and building accurate, detailed estimates in LMN estimating software
- Developing the ops handoff package that sets our field crews up to execute without follow-up questions
- Managing all change orders end to end — pricing, documentation, distribution, and closure
- Maintaining vendor and sub relationships and keeping our pricing current
- Issuing financial handoff documents to our Finance Coordinator at contract signing
This is not a support role. You own the process. When a project moves from tender to active job, the quality of your handoff package determines whether the field runs clean or spends the first week chasing information. That standard is non-negotiable.

Your first 60–90 days includes structured hands-on time with our field crews learning exactly how FlightLine produces — what our production rates look like in real conditions, what drives our costs, and what separates a FlightLine project from anything else in the market. You'll estimate with a precision that desk-bound estimators never develop because you'll have seen it first-hand.
You won't be left figuring out our standards from a document, you'll see exactly how we think about scope, risk, and margin.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years estimating experience in construction, commercial landscaping, or civil adjacent work
- Comfortable in the field — not precious about getting dirty and genuinely curious about how things get built
- Vendor and sub relationships you've actually built, not inherited
- High standard for documentation and handoff quality — you close loops, you don't leave them open
- Hunger to learn a new sector and grow into a senior leadership role as FlightLine scales
- LMN estimating software experience is a bonus, not a requirement — we'll train the right person
Golf construction experience is not required. Golf knowledge is teachable. Commercial estimating judgment and field comfort are not.

What You'll Get
- Base salary $75,000–$90,000 depending on experience
- Performance bonus of $8,000 - $12,000 fully earned at 85% or above across three metrics: estimating accuracy, tender conversion rate, and ops handoff quality
