Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a dynamic restaurant setting, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and food safety regulations
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Serve dishes efficiently and professionally to guests, maintaining excellent food service standards
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work areas, and proper storage of ingredients
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry environment
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Kitchen experience that demonstrates versatility across various cuisines is preferred
Passion for the food industry with a commitment to quality and safety standards

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
