Position Title: Office Administrator
Company Overview:
Forest Ridge began as a family run landscape design, installation, and maintenance company for over 25 years. We have since amalgamated with a nationwide company called Urban Life Solutions. We have divisions spanning from Ontario all the way to Alberta. Our division covers a variety of contracts throughout GTA and surrounding areas, with commercial landscaping projects including hardscaping, soft scaping, grading, retaining walls, planting, sodding etc.
Job Summary:
The Office Administrator is primarily responsible for providing administrative support across various departments and helping ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day administrative duties.
- Organize and maintain files and records to ensure easy access to important documents.
- Assist with site mapping and documentation to support accurate bid submissions for new contracts.
- Support the use of vehicle tracking software to prepare accurate reports for various contracts and assist with payroll processes.
- Assist the accounting team with managing receipts, verifying documents, and maintaining accurate records using available resources.
- Prepare reports, forms, and other documents for Operations and Shop Managers as required.
- Complete tasks and special projects assigned by company management.
- Use computer software and office systems to perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Office administration diploma considered an asset
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant considered an asset
- Ability to work with multiple team members for a variety of tasks
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong Organizational and Time-Management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
