We are seeking an experienced Store Manager (food) to lead a busy, well-established specialty food market serving a loyal customer base in Toronto.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for store operations, team leadership, merchandising, customer service, labour management, profitability, and achieving financial objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Supermarket Store Manager
- Experience managing fresh departments including Produce, Deli, Meat, Bakery, or Grocery
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
- Proven success managing sales, labour, shrink, inventory, and profitability
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong customer-service focus
- Experience in independent, multicultural, European, specialty, or premium food retail environments is highly valued
