We provide innovative, seal-less solutions that prevent leakage of hazardous substances and ensure maximum safety in critical industries. Our technologies align with EagleBurgmann’s global expertise in industrial sealing, serving industries where reliability and performance are paramount.
- Interface with customers and EagleBurgmann global sales organization to determine project requirements.
- Review customer specifications, operating conditions, and system interfaces.
- Perform application sizing, performance calculations, and product selection.
- Prepare technical proposals and quotations with supporting documentation and comments and deviations to specifications
- Participate in product development as needed for special applications
- Perform Engineering calculations related to blower performance, pressure vessel design, magnetic coupling design, etc.
- Checki/review engineering drawings as required ensuring products meet contract requirements as well as engineering standards and certifications
- Ensure the scope is well defined, and that the product design meets these specifications and the customer’s requirements
- Review contracts to ensure technical feasibility, risk management, and alignment with internal engineering and operations capabilities.
- Create Data Packages and Inspection and Test Plans
- Provide technical support during design, manufacturing, commissioning, and service phases.
- Manage projects, including project timelines, project budgeting, cost estimation, component and materials procurement
- Participate in quality processes including corrective and preventative actions or activities
- Capture lessons learned from projects and field experience to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in testing of products, sometimes with customers or third party inspectors
- Support Service and Repair business
- Review and adhere to all Company management systems, procedures, and policies (e.g., Quality, HSE, etc.)
- Responsible for other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by Company Management.
- B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing) or equivalent
- Self-starter with strong organization skills and attention to detail requiring minimal supervision
- Knowledge of industrial rotating equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Project management experience
- Ability to work well within a team including manufacturing personnel, engineers, designers, suppliers and customers
