Location: Frobisher Inn, Iqaluit, NU
Supporting: The Frob Eatery, The Storehouse Bar & Grill, and Caribrew Cafe
Staff Housing: Available or subsidy for full-time staff

Are you passionate about cooking and ready to grow your culinary career? The Frobisher Inn is hiring cooks at all experience levels, from entry-level/prep cooks to experienced line cooks and senior kitchen team members.

Key Responsibilities (vary by experience level):

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu and standards
Execute dishes efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Support inventory, prep work, and kitchen operations
Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver consistent, memorable guest experiences
For senior cooks: assist with mentoring junior staff and supporting kitchen leadership

Prep Cook (Entry-Level):

Passion for food and willingness to learn
Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset

Line Cook:

1–3 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
Ability to run a station with consistency and efficiency
Solid understanding of cooking techniques and food safety

Experienced Cook (Senior-Level):

3+ years of progressive culinary experience
Advanced cooking skills and ability to manage multiple stations or complex service
Strong leadership abilities with experience supporting or mentoring team members
Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, quality control, and food safety

All candidates should have:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to food quality and safety standards
A positive attitude and passion for great food
