Dishwasher / Prep Cook

Gladstone Brewing Co.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dependable and hard-working Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a fast-paced brewery and restaurant built around great food, good beer, and genuine people, and we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a strong team environment.

This is a night-shift role that plays an important part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting the kitchen team with dishwashing, cleaning, prep, and end-of-night closing tasks.

Schedule

Night shifts only
Typical shift: 6:00 PM to close (approximately 11:00 PM or later)
Evening and weekend availability required
Part-time and full-time opportunities available

What You’ll Do

Operate the commercial dishwasher to clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Hand-wash pots, pans, and larger kitchen items as needed
Keep dish area, floors, and back kitchen spaces clean, dry, and organized
Take out garbage and recycling throughout the shift
Assist with kitchen prep tasks including chopping and organizing ingredients
Support prep cooks and line cooks during busy service periods
Restock prep stations and kitchen supplies as needed
Help close the kitchen each night by completing cleaning and reset tasks
Follow all health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment

Who You Are

Dependable, positive, and hard-working
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to stay organized and keep up during busy periods
Comfortable using kitchen knives safely and efficiently for prep tasks
Basic knife skills and attention to detail are important for the prep side of the role
Physically comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods
Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed
Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset, but not required
Food Safe certification is an asset
