Summary:
The Finishing Operator is responsible for the operation of the equipment in the Finishing Department. The employee ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, efficiency and quality requirements at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Gluers according to work instructions and customer specifications

Assist Adjusters and other Operators in make ready and operation of equipment

Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on Finishing equipment regularly

Monitor supply levels and order through the Finishing Manager as needed

Responsible for knowing Finishing lockout procedures

Complete quality checks to ensure only conforming product is being produced

Complete necessary paperwork accurately in a timely manner

Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- The Finishing Operator must successfully pass a colourblindness test.

Must be able to work a Continental shift schedule (84 hours biweekly, rotates every 2 weeks between days and nights, 7-7)
