Respectable trucking company (Job Truck Inc.) with 25 successful operating years in business. Currently looking for ONE (1) AZ driver, to work within a driving team as a full-time subcontractor or for ONE TEAM ( two drivers ).
Duties:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances, typically from within Canada to West Coast United States of America (we offer consistent long-haul/LTL loads to CA, OR, and WA).
- Operate large vehicle appropriately and follow traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road; adhere to delivery schedules.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, report accordingly, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Secure cargo for transportation to ensure it is not damaged during transit.
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to ensure cohesive pick-up and delivery times.
Requirements:
- Legally allowed to work in Canada and the US, with a clean CVOR abstract and Criminal Record.
- Appropriate license for long-haul trucking (AZ license); clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Experienced drivers are preferred (minimum 1.5 years).
- Fluent in English (language skills in Serbo-Croatian are an asset as well).
- Preference will be given to Fast Card holders.
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines
