Job Overview:
We are looking to add a CNC Gundrill Operator to our team. As a CNC Gundrill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) gundrilling machine. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Candidate must be able to work days and afternoons (rotating shifts). Steady night shift is a possibility.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC gundrilling machines to perform machining and drilling operations. Select appropriate tooling to complete the required task.
- Interpret CAD models
- Programming is done offline, but experience with Lemoine is an asset
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
- Operate other machines as requested
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Gundrill Operator an asset
- Experience with Lemoine software an asset
- Knowledge of machining and operation on Heidenhain and Tarus controls an asset
- Experience with forklift operation and overhead crane an asset
