Position Summary
The Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting customers and technicians with automotive parts requests, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient parts operations within the dealership. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide professional, knowledgeable service that reflects the Volvo brand.
Responsibilities
- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts inquiries and purchases
- Accurately identify, source, and order automotive parts and accessories
- Supply technicians with required parts in a timely manner
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments
- Maintain inventory control, bin locations, and stock levels
- Process special orders, returns, and warranty parts
- Maintain clean and organized parts storage and showroom areas
- Use dealership management systems and manufacturer catalogs effectively
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments
- Support parts department goals and maintain high customer satisfaction standards
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience with dealership software systems considered an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Volvo or European import experience is an asset

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday (8 - 5:30PM) with occasional Saturdays as required
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
