Company Overview

Heritage Fish and Chips is a local Bolton Shop operating for 40 years in the GTA

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Heritage in our Bolton Location. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards for excellence and safety, contributing to our mission of exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist in cooking and plating dishes as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation or cooking roles.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
