As the Sales leader you you will own that standard — driving sales performance, shaping team culture, and delivering a premium, client-obsessed experience that reflects our retail heritage and values.
We are looking for someone who brings a genuine passion for design and home furnishings, and who will lead a team focused on strategy and execution — working on multiple projects across different budgets, sizes, and scale, and presenting confidently to clients using our showroom standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be obsessed with the customer experience: greet every person who walks through our door with genuine warmth, acknowledge every departure, and answer every incoming call — we believe old-fashioned service never goes out of style
- Consistently lead the showroom in personal sales volume — you set the bar, and your team rises to meet it.
- Lead and inspire the showroom team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Deliver an exceptional, consultative client experience across every interaction
- Build strong client relationships and guide purchasing decisions with confidence and design expertise
- Drive a high-performance culture
- Oversee daily showroom operations with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Manage scheduling and operational administration to meet client demand
- Ensure accurate pricing, product knowledge, and brand-aligned showroom presentation at all times
- Coordinate stock movements, deliveries, and inventory processes
- Represent Castle Mountain through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism with a discerning eye for quality
- Embrace change and deliver results with a positive attitude no matter what the obstacle
- Work on multiple design projects, both collaboratively and independently, across different budgets and scale
- Present to clients using our showroom presentation standards
- Perform special projects as assigned and handle multiple tasks with agency and integrity
- Support loss prevention, inventory management, and internal operational controls
What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience in retail, ideally within premium or luxury environments
- A proven track record of top individual sales performance in a retail or design environment — you don’t just coach selling, you do it
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage showroom performance, targets, and budgets
- A genuinely client-obsessed mindset — you build trust and bring out the best in those around you
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail and a disciplined approach to operations
- A confident communicator who can influence, coach, and resolve challenges with ease
- Background in furniture, textiles, interior design, or related industries highly regarded
- Resilient and adaptable — you thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and comfortable working across retail systems. Canva, design software, Quickbooks is a strong asset. Bookkeeping, AR/AP experience a strong asset. Strong Administrative skills considered an advantage
- Interior design experience preferred
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High energy and results-driven with a demonstrated understanding of a premium brand experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal listening and openness
- Exceptional organisation, time management, client service, and project management skills
- Strong digital fluency and computer skills required,
- Social media skills, reels, stories, editing considered a strong asset
- Strong emphasis on quality in presentation skills, including space planning
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around the showroom floor, stock room, and office

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
