Position Summary

This position consists of Hydrovac and Combo Vac assignments, including pipeline projects throughout Western Canada. The successful candidate must be able to travel regularly and work a varied schedule, with shift rotations and assignments based on a 50-hour workweek plus overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Drive, operate, and perform Hydrovac and Combo Vac duties as assigned
Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Assist with job site preparation and equipment staging
Maintain and update driver's electronic logbooks
Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day
Perform minor equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance with the mechanic team

What You Bring to Avenge:

Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence with a clean 5-year driver's abstract
Minimum 3 years of previous Hydrovac experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good judgment and decision-making skills
Computer and mobile app experience for electronic forms, e-logs, and safety compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Active Safety Certificates: First Aid, H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space, CSO, PCST, GD201 (Global or Aztec) certificates
Ability to pass company and client drug and alcohol testing requirements

Working Conditions

Regular travel required
Shift rotations and varied schedules
50-hour workweek plus overtime
Remote project work

Outdoor work in varying weather and site conditions
