Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in security or law enforcement.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and respond promptly to any suspicious behavior.
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate action and report findings accurately.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns.

Skills

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage within the premises.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Good communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly to incidents as needed. This position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment while developing valuable security skills. Pay: $17.85-$18.25 per hour
