Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate - Showroom Assitant to join our team at Jordans in Kamloops. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing orders, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. You will also be requiered to assist on the showroom floor helping customers as needed to suport our sales team. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products within the warehouse.
Operate order pickers and forklifts safely to move materials as needed.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders efficiently.
Load and unload shipments accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
Advising customers
Some Rug Sales
Answering the phone professionaly

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with order picking equipment such as forklifts or clamp trucks is an asset.
Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment handling.
Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
