Whitemud Ironworks Limited is one of Western Canada’s largest open-shop commercial steel fabricators and erectors. As a fully integrated company, we specialize in structural and miscellaneous steel projects within the commercial sector.

Position Overview

Whitemud Ironworks Limited is hiring experienced & apprentice Ironworkers for our Edmonton-based construction team. Enjoy local work, home every night, and year-round employment. Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Sort, rig, and prepare structural steel for erection
Erect structural, ornamental, and miscellaneous steel components
Perform modification and repair work on existing steel structures
Work in various site conditions, in town and out of town, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Ticketed journeyman or registered apprentice
Valid CWB SMAW all position ticket preferred
CWB FCAW all position ticket is an asset
Minimum 2 years' experience with structural steel projects
Experience with commercial projects is an asset
Takes safety as your number one priority
Reliable and willing to work as a team with others
