Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in an automotive dealership settings is a plus, but not required. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Duties

Greeting and directing customers
Receiving phone calls, transfer calls and page staff within the dealership clearly over intercom system
Cash handling
Maintain the petty cash float and reconcile at the end of the day
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Complete service receipting as required
Operate the electronic funds transfer & point of sale machines
Provide customer receipts according to Key West Ford standards and procedures
Release service vehicles to customer during ‘service after hours’ as needed
Maintain demo plate distribution and collection
Distribute and track all incoming sales calls according to Key West Ford standards and procedures
Daily filing tasks for sales & service departments

Experience

Prior administrative & customer service experience preferred
Must have an upbeat personality and ability to confidently handle responsibilities under pressure
Familiarity with office software including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and CRM software
Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
Experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities
Ability to manage filing systems effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
