Available Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: Vaughan, Ontario
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support end‑to‑end financial reporting for foreign entities within the KGHM International Group, in accordance with IFRS. The role supports month‑end and year‑end close activities, preparation of statutory and management reporting, and analysis of complex accounting and tax‑related matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across finance functions, as well as with external auditors, to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality reporting.
This is a new full-time role, with a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days in the office, located in Vaughan, Ontario. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 pm. There is a limited requirement to travel.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and actively participate in the month-end closing process within the KGHM International Group
- Prepare and maintain the Group’s monthly fixed assets reporting
- Coordinate intra-group settlement processes and support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation across the Group
- Prepare annual standalone financial statements for foreign entities within the KGHM International Group (approx. 25 abbreviated financial statements) in accordance with IFRS
- Support the Head of Foreign Companies Reporting in the preparation of quarterly consolidated IFRS financial statements, including drafting memoranda and managing calculation models related to IFRS
- Assist the Head of Foreign Companies Reporting in the analysis of complex accounting matters in line with IFRS standards
- Support the preparation of tax calculations for foreign-controlled entities within the Group (CFC tax)
- Provide analytical support to the Financial Controller of Foreign Companies by preparing ad hoc analyses, reports, and statements
- Liaise with external auditors during audits of consolidated financial statements of foreign entities within the Group
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting Services Center and organizational units responsible for treasury, controlling, and foreign assets at the parent company, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
What You’ll Bring
- 6 years of professional experience in finance and/or accounting, including at least 4 years in a large organization or within a financial audit environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong expertise in IFRS reporting and tax regulations, combined with solid practical knowledge of financial and management accounting
- Proven skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and planning, with experience in improving financial processes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work with complex data and models
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to draw clear, well-reasoned conclusions
- Strong self-organization and independence, paired with a high level of accuracy, diligence, and commitment
- Proactive mindset, openness to continuous learning, and willingness to develop new skills
- Fluent English
What Will Set You Apart
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Auditor, ACCA, CPA, or significant progress toward obtaining them
- Experience working with ERP class systems (e.g. JDE)
- Working proficiency in Spanish

Compensation for this position is determined by experience and alignment with role requirements and typically ranges from $100,000 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive awards.
