About the Role
Kost Klip Manufacturing, part of the global HL Display Group, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support our growing manufacturing organization of approximately 100 employees.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role combines day-to-day operational HR support with payroll and benefits administration. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders and employees across the organization to support employee relations, compliance, payroll processing, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support workforce planning, employee development, and organizational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with:
- BC Employment Standards Act
- BC Human Rights Code
- Workers Compensation Act and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Applicable privacy legislation
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings and candidate coordination
- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records
- Support workplace investigations and documentation processes as required
- Assist with policy development, implementation, and employee communications
- Administer employee leaves including vacation, sick leave, statutory leaves, and accommodations
- Support training initiatives using the company Learning Management System (LMS)
- Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for leadership
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for approximately 100 employees
- Maintain payroll records including new hires, terminations, wage changes, deductions, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Reconcile payroll reports and coordinate remittances
- Administer group benefits and coordinate employee enrollments and changes
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll reporting and year-end activities including T4s and audits
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll and employee information
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Payroll, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including payroll administration
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of BC employment standards, payroll legislation, and HR best practices
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) or CPP designation or working toward certification is considered an asset
- Experience with ADP software is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Working Conditions
- Office-based within a manufacturing environment, Monday-Friday, on site

Pay: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
