This contract posting is designed to support KW Hab’s upcoming growth in community supports. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing initiatives, strengthening service delivery, and helping expand capacity to meet increasing community supports needs.
The Manager of Community and Employment Supports has the delegated responsibility to ensure that all program services and supports are within the context of KW Habilitation’s mission statement, policies, and procedures and that all practices are consistent with legislative requirements.
The Manager will promote the principles of inclusion and person directed planning in their speech, presentation, and in the performance of their duties. Our Vision Statement guides our work: “A community where everyone belongs and participates”.

Responsibilities
- Staff supervision
- Individualized support services
- Operational functions

- Agency, committee, and community contact.
- As a representative of KWH, the Manager acts as a leader and role model in all functions of the position
Requirements
- College diploma (2 years) and/or a University degree in a human services related field
- At least 4 years direct experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Previous supervisory/management experience an asset
- Experience leading teams through change
- Experience ensuring programs standards to meet ministry compliance expectations
- Experience in managing resources within budget
- Experience in collaborating with community and building a service model
- Proven leadership skills; excellent communication & organization skills, and proficiency using a computer
- Commitment to person-directed thinking and planning
- Able to demonstrate creative problem-solving and decision-making, high resiliency, advocating for others, change management, relationship/network building, resource management, and strategic thinking
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle along with current First-Aid and NVCI training

Hours: 40 hours a week – flexibility required (evening, weekend, and on-call work)
Start Date: End of June 2026
Contract length: 6 months, possibility of extension
Rate of Pay: $31.20 – 34.66 hourly
