About the Future in Progress: Graduates program
Our 24-month cross-functional program is structured around three 8-month rotations. From day one, you’ll work on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and build skills across a variety of teams. You’ll also join a supportive graduate community, benefit from a premium learning curriculum—including workshops, training sessions and digital tools,— high challenge, high support from mentors and senior leaders.
During your rotations, you could work in areas such as:

Smoke-Free: Join teams that develop our smoke-free products. Get involved in research and development, analyze markets and customer trends, and help shape product strategy and marketing before products reach our retailers and legal-age customers.
- Commercial: Build practical experience bringing our products to market. Work in sales and marketing, grow relationships with retailers, learn territory management, and see how your work directly impacts our business results.
- Corporate Functions: Contribute to strategic support areas such as corporate affairs, finance, marketing, people & culture, and strategy. Build professional confidence as you contribute to projects that drive our transformation.

Who can apply:
We’re looking for innovative, curious, and ambitious graduates who are fast learners, think creatively, take initiative, and thrive in dynamic settings. To be eligible for the Future in Progress Graduate program, you should have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as business, digital, economics, finance, human resources, legal, marketing, political science, or equivalent experience or qualification.

A maximum of 3-years of post-graduation work experience.

Proficiency in English and the local language.

Legal right to work in the country you’re applying for (without sponsorship).

Willingness to relocate in your home market or abroad.

- Consumer Engagement & Brand Storytelling – Builds authentic connections with legal-age nicotine users by bringing brand values to life through confident, engaging, and audience-appropriate interactions.

Event Hosting & Public Presence – Creates energy on site, hosts activations with confidence, speaks clearly to groups, and maintains a strong, professional brand presence across different event formats and audience settings.

Activation Planning & Execution – Translates activation concepts into well-run experiences by coordinating details, managing timelines, and ensuring each touchpoint is delivered smoothly from setup to wrap-up.

Consumer Education & Guided Trial Delivery – Explains products, categories, and brand benefits in a clear, compliant, and engaging way, adapting the message to the audience while supporting informed consumer experiences.

Audience Awareness & Interpersonal Agility – Reads the room effectively, adapts style to different consumer profiles, and responds with empathy, confidence, and professionalism in fast-moving live environments.

Issue Management & Composure Under Pressure – Handles unexpected changes, operational issues, and live-event challenges calmly and professionally while keeping the experience on track and the audience engaged.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works effectively with agencies, CX, marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging, logistics, staffing, and event objectives.

Content Delivery & Message Consistency – Supports the development and delivery of activation scripts, talking points, and educational content that are clear, on-brand, and consistent across experiences.

Operational Discipline & Compliance – Follows brand guidelines, event protocols, and applicable regulations while maintaining high execution standards and protecting the integrity of the consumer experience.

Feedback Collection & Performance Mindset – Captures consumer insights, identifies opportunities to improve future activations, and uses feedback and results to continuously strengthen brand experience delivery.
