Role is based in - Kelowna, BC

About the Role

Lear Construction is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the delivery of multi-familiy construction projects across Alberta and British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience from the BC Market who is looking to grow into a Project Manager position within a high-performing team.

You will play a key role in coordinating project execution, supporting field and office teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout
Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, consultants, and trade partners to maintain strong communication and alignment
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with project cost tracking, budgeting, and change management processes
Utilize systems such as Spectrum, FieldWire, and Bluebeam for documentation and project coordination
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and support issue resolution
Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and maintain organized project records
Support estimating and pre-construction efforts as required

What We’re Looking For

Experience working for a General Contractor within multi-family or commercial/institutional construction
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders is considered a strong asset
Proficiency with construction software (Spectrum, FieldWire, Bluebeam or similar)
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
Self-starter with a desire to grow into a Project Management role
