About Us:

TST-CF Express is Canada's leading provider of time sensitive, less than truckload (LTL) North American transportation services. Since 1928, we've offered unparalleled quality service and customer support, while utilizing the most current technology available to the industry.

Reporting to the Director of Pricing, this position is responsible to provide leadership, direction and training to the General Office Pricing Services personnel in the administration of freight tenders and proposals. Review Rate Requests submitted for RFPs and proposals to evaluate opportunity and build pricing strategies. Establishes a time plan to process a specific proposal or tender to meet stated deadlines. Ensures the quality of the work conforms to company policy and standards, prior to having proposal or tender submitted to customer.

Responsibilities:

Manages and reviews contract agreements to capture profitability. Prepare summary report identifying areas of concern for managements final review.
Generate optimal price proposals that are market competitive, show value and provide a profit based on the customers shipping requirements.
Responsible for forming and managing proposals to support strategic opportunities resulting in capturing new business.
Provide spot quote support for shipments over 20 feet of trailer space.
Provide CIS Costing and Reporting Program maintenance by troubleshooting identified problems and arranging for solutions to be implemented.
When processing Cost Reviews and RFPs, identify inconsistencies in front line costs within cost modules to help improve current costings for agreements and proposals.
Collaborate with terminal operation manager, linehaul manager, to arrange full truckload moves.
Perform other duties assigned.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook)
Bilingual in French is an asset
Experience in transportation industry is an asset
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and a desire to continually improve
Energetic, creative thinker with a competitive desire to continually meet goals and exceed expectations.
