Location: Lynn Valley Care Centre
Address: 1070 Lynn Valley Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7J 1Z8
Position Details: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday (0800-1600)
Compensation: Up to $68,000 per annum, based on previous experience

Position Summary

The Care Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising CareCorp Health Care Aides. This role provides guidance, leadership, training, and ongoing support to ensure exceptional resident care and service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong healthcare leader who is passionate about seniors’ care and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support CareCorp staff to ensure quality resident care
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives
Assist with scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
Approve vacation, sick time, and leave requests
Provide staff education, coaching, and ongoing training
Conduct performance evaluations and provide corrective coaching when required
Collaborate with HR regarding employee relations and workplace matters
Participate in occupational health & safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety
Respond to incidents, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and action planning
Ensure resources, supplies, and equipment are available for safe resident care
Support emergency response procedures and organizational policies
Be available for after-hours on-call support as required

Qualifications

Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
Current CPR C and First Aid certification
WHMIS certification
Clear and recent Criminal Record Check
Minimum 2 years of seniors’ care experience
Leadership, human relations, or supervisory experience preferred

Pay: $64,350.00-$68,000.00 per year
