Summary of Responsibilities:
· Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or residential plumbing fixtures and systems.
· Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
· Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
· Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
· Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering.
· Complete work as directed by journeyman/journeywomen and project foreman.
· Complete work safely, in accordance with the safety regulations and company policies.
· All work to be completed in accordance with company standards.
· Assist in pipe testing as directed.
· Ask questions if you don’t understand, if you don’t ask questions you’ll never learn.
Complete tasks as directed by foreman, and in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
· Three (3) to Five (5) Years Experience in Plumbing and/or Heating.
· Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
· Plumber certification is considered an asset but is not required.
· Positive attitude.
· Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
· Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
· Basic understanding of the English Language is required.
Pay, Benefits & Hours:
· $24.04 to $30.00 Per hour. (Based on Experience)
· Benefits after 1 year with company
· RRSP after 6 months with company
· Fulltime (40 hours per week minimum)
· Friday afternoons off
