Job Description

O.J. Industrial Maintenance – A Division of OJ Pipelines Canada

O.J. Industrial Maintenance specializes in the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of siphons, tailings lines, slurry lines, and light civil work within the oil industry. We focus on building strong client relationships, delivering customer satisfaction, and helping our clients meet their environmental obligations.

Position: Principal Operator – Dozer / Excavator / Rock Truck

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside piping, mechanical, and civil crews.
Operate safely and effectively around other equipment operators, welders, and skilled labour personnel.
Perform additional duties as required.

Safety Responsibilities

Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and FLHAs.
Report near misses, infractions, and safety observations.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment through clear communication and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of equipment operating experience.
Minimum 5 years of overall equipment operation knowledge and experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate the equipment group applied for.
Previous pipeline experience is considered an asset.
Must be proficient in English.
Must possess valid CSTS / OSSA certification or equivalent BSO / CSO certification.
Intermediate Wildlife Awareness with Bear Spray certification is considered an asset.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred.

Additional Information

Immediate need for Excavator and Rock Truck operators, followed by Dozer operators.
Day and night shifts available.
No camp provided.
Additional local incentive of $50.00 per day worked.
