Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by efficiently washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role is vital in supporting our restaurant’s operations and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in upholding health and safety standards while contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
Ensure all items are properly cleaned and stored in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout the shift.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workspaces.
Support kitchen staff by handling food handling responsibilities in accordance with safety standards when required.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep the dishwashing area organized and hygienic.

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant, kitchen, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met consistently.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
