Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant will provide assistance in all office and accounting functions at our office in central London.
The job will be regular part time 15-20 hours (plus additional time as needed)
Monday - Friday business hours
Key Accountabilities:
- Daily reconciliation of sales
- Input of sales to proprietary software
- Process accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Maintain vendor information
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Create Inventory Journal Entry
- Reconcile arcade card sales
- Reconcile certain GL accounts
- Other general office and accounting duties
Qualifications:
- One to two years of accounting experience, preferably working toward an accounting certificate or designation.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and account reconciliation techniques
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team and across departments
- Familiarity with Sage 300 Accounting Software and Excel is beneficial.
