Founded in 1996, our team brings a Calm, Confident, Courteous approach to event security, specializing in live event, concert, backstage, and VIP protection. We don’t just provide security; we act as ambassadors for our clients, blending into the background while maintaining total control through professional communication and expert problem-solving.
The Role
We are looking for disciplined, approachable, and highly professional individuals to join our security team. You will be the front-line face of our events, ensuring the safety of attendees, staff, and performers while maintaining the high standards of Patman Productions Inc..
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted backstage/VIP areas.
- Crowd Management: Assist with crowd flow, ticket taking, and ushering with a friendly but firm demeanor.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard equipment and property at high-profile venues.
- Conflict Resolution: Use verbal de-escalation techniques to handle disruptive attendees or intoxicated individuals.
- Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols and monitor behavior to prevent incidents before they escalate.
Requirements
- Be 18yrs of age or older
- Valid Alberta Security License (Don't have one ask us how?)
- ProServe & Pro-Tect certifications (or willingness to obtain them for liquor-licensed venues).
- First Aid (Asset but not mandatory).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and navigate crowded event spaces.
- Professional Appearance: Must be comfortable wearing the standard "Patman" uniform (basic black or supervisor grey).
