Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Restaurant Member to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
Assist with food handling, serving, and other restaurant operations as needed
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
Support team members to deliver exceptional customer service at all times

Qualifications

experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and upselling

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
